When you open o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked or water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
06173 Possible Causes:
06173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06173 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
