Diagnosing engine bar with fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation also secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
06173 Possible Causes:
06173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06173 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
