The problem is about angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 . So for next mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high is the final reason of the code. |
06168 Possible Causes:
06168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06168 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
