Staring in engine different wheel speed signals, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit you can see the transmission range display, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
06168 Possible Causes:
06168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06168 Code
- Inspect all the connections vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
