Diagnosing engine bar with camshaft position signal output, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 also different wheel speed signals, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
06166 Possible Causes:
06166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06166 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
