06164 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake manifold runner control, default not reached or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
06164 Possible Causes:
06164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06164 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel sensor sensor (g410), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
