06163 Description And Summary : |

When you open relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
06163 Possible Causes:
06163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06163 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
