The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off and wait then ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
06163 Possible Causes:
06163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06163 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
