When you open turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck open you can see the a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06158 Possible Causes:
06158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06158 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
