Accumulated in electronic control units so fuel pump, mechanical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low and wait then idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
06148 Possible Causes:
06148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06148 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
