06141 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission range display, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
06141 Possible Causes:
06141 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 06141 Code
- Inspect all the connections drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
