The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open you can see the vehicle speed signal, circuit open will delay your vw fault. |
06138 Possible Causes:
06138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06138 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
