06136 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit and wait then clutch slip control, signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
06136 Possible Causes:
06136 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06136 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
