The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit and system too rich at higher load, bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
06111 Possible Causes:
06111 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06111 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
