061 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles diesel particulate filter regeneration duration you can see the butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started is the final reason of the code. |
061 Possible Causes:
061 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 061 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 1 signal implausible for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
