061 Description And Summary : |

When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low or secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
061 Possible Causes:
061 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 061 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
