This something to do with the intake camshaft timing post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 and malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
06085 Possible Causes:
06085 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06085 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
