06080 Description And Summary : |

When you open cylinder 7 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit and wait then ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
06080 Possible Causes:
06080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06080 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
