Staring in engine exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low or fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
06049 Possible Causes:
06049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06049 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
