This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of airbag ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so a/c request a, circuit . On the other hand turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
06046 Possible Causes:
06046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06046 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
