Diagnosing engine bar with change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), circuit low input and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06042 Possible Causes:
06042 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06042 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
