This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 8 above knock threshold and wait then engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
06040 Possible Causes:
06040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
