Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high also diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
06038 Possible Causes:
06038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06038 Code
- Inspect all the connections air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
