The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault shift lock, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management request input signal b and angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
06038 Possible Causes:
06038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06038 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
