When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance . So for next linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
06031 Possible Causes:
06031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit

- Inspect all the connections fuel supply heater, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
