The problem is about o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
06031 Possible Causes:
06031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06031 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
