06031 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch run/start position, circuit low or reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 is the final reason of the code. |
06031 Possible Causes:
06031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06031 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
