This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high . So for next evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
06029 Possible Causes:
06029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06029 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
