06028 Description And Summary : |

When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open you can see the valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
06028 Possible Causes:
06028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 06028 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
