The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition switch run position, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ and exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
06020 Possible Causes:
06020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06020 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
