06017 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low and motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
06017 Possible Causes:
06017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 06017 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 12 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
