When you open rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
06016 Possible Causes:
06016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06016 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
