06009 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start shift lock, malfunction or signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06009 Possible Causes:
06009 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06009 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
