This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake air heater "a", circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical or change turbocharger control module, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
06004 Possible Causes:
06004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06004 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
