The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission range display, circuit short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance . On the other hand reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05983 Possible Causes:
05983 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
