05982 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system minimum throttle position, not learned and wait then fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05982 Possible Causes:
05982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05982 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
