When you open turbocharger control module, faulty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ also ignition switch run/start position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05981 Possible Causes:
05981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05981 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
