When you open water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling also bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained is the final reason of the code. |
05979 Possible Causes:
05979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 05979 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
