The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault camshaft position signal output, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit low also coolant degassing valve, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05961 Possible Causes:
05961 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05961 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
