This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit low or exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance will delay your vw fault. |
05960 Possible Causes:
05960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05960 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
