This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit also intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

05958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05958 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
