05957 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed system too rich at higher load, bank 2 or change heater regulation, implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |

05957 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 05957 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
