The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground you can see the fuel pump, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |

05953 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 05953 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
