This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle or diesel particulate filter regeneration duration will delay your vw fault. |
05943 Possible Causes:
05943 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05943 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
