Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission control unit relay, malfunction and wait then ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
05938 Possible Causes:
05938 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05938 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
