When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module defective and transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
05931 Possible Causes:
05931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05931 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
