The problem is about air leak between maf and throttle body It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open or powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller will delay your vw fault. |
05931 Possible Causes:
05931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05931 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
