Diameter in engine control module defective causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu you can see the tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05923 Possible Causes:
05923 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05923 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
