When you open pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake air heater "a", circuit you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
05920 Possible Causes:
05920 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05920 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
