The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection air pump control, circuit high or change pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
05918 Possible Causes:
05918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05918 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
