05908 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle control: airflow at idle too low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance or low pressure fuel sensor sensor (g410), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
05908 Possible Causes:
05908 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05908 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
