05901 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel pump, short circuit or ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault.

05901 Possible Causes:

05901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
