The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel pump, short circuit or ignition coil 'h' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
05901 Possible Causes:
05901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05901 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
