Staring in engine shift lock, open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit . On the other hand glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05901 Possible Causes:
05901 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05901 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
