This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel pump "b", low flow / performance or change throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'a' / 'c', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
059 Possible Causes:
059 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 059 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
