Diagnosing engine bar with low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit and fuel additive control module warning lamp request is the final reason of the code. |
05898 Possible Causes:
05898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05898 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
