When you open secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open and fuel fired heater, disabled is the final reason of the code. |
05897 Possible Causes:
05897 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05897 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
