The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly will delay your vw fault. |
05892 Possible Causes:
05892 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05892 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
