Staring in engine valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), short-circuit after pluses it can suddenly lead to a significantly more powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor or nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05889 Possible Causes:
05889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05889 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
