This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed also ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05884 Possible Causes:
05884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05884 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
